Ideas for Magazine Plan
The
idea I have thought of doing for my magazine plan is Christmas or Sixth Form. For each background image i could either take pictures of the school with the name board included or for the sixth from cover i could take picture sof some Sixth Formers walking into the gate.
From previous research I now know that most magazines consist of many conventions such as master heads, barcodes, dates, buy-lines, text, background pictures and features. But to make it look as professional as possible I won’t be using all of these conventions on my magazine cover.

1.
Chislehurst Times
2.
The C.H. Paper
3.
Chislehurst Christmas.
I
wanted the master heads of my magazine to be catchy but the type of magazine
name would want to open and read. Whichever master head I decide on using, the
colour scheme of my page wants be too bright, therefor leaving me with navy
blue and a yellowy gold. M reason for these colour choices would be that I
looked at the school uniform. Even though the uniform was all dark colours like
grey and black, I also sae that the badge of the school had some yellow lines
around it giving me my colour scheme idea.
The colour schemes will also for perfectly for my target audience as well as the theme. The purpose of my magazine will be clear just by looking at the front cover which will be based on starting sixth from. The combination with navy blue and yellowy gold will show that the magazine is dedicated to a Chislehurst school situation, also to make it look more efficient. The target audience will also be straight forward since most of the features on the front and pictures will be sixth from based.
